# Public documentation conflict review: original sample

This is an original review of three public observations, not customer work. The question is whether published documentation establishes a consistent prefunding story.

| Claim | Assessment | Evidence and consequence |
| --- | --- | --- |
| The agent guide describes prefunding for escrow-labeled bounties. | Supported as a published statement | S1 describes deposited funds. This verifies the wording, not an actual deposit. |
| The guide and terms agree that escrow currently exists. | Contradicted between sources | S1 describes prefunding; S2 denies current escrow. The inconsistency remains unresolved. |
| Past payout labels prove a new task is funded and will pay. | Unverified | S3 labels two historical outcomes as paid. It provides no independent receipts or new-task funding evidence. |

## Sources and observation limits

- S1: [Agent guide](https://thejobcafe.com/docs/mcp).
- S2: [Terms](https://thejobcafe.com/terms).
- S3: [Public payout feed](https://thejobcafe.com/api/public/payouts).

The companion JSON records observation dates, short excerpts and snapshot hashes. These identify saved source material, not authenticity or truth. S1/S2 hashes cover fetched HTML; S3 covers the saved formatted JSON snapshot. This is not a legal interpretation, financial recommendation, platform audit or guarantee of payment. No publisher was contacted and no account, claim or payment was created.

Next evidence needed: consistent current published terms and task-specific funding/settlement evidence. The conflict itself cannot establish which document is correct. Review current sources again before relying on this historical sample.
